A Man & His Tools & A First Time Nonni

Once again I am playing in 2 challenges this week. The frist one is Wordless Wednesday. I did not take this photo today but it's one I would ike to "show off" taken this past Sunday.

My daughter with her very first grandchild. She has chosen to be called Nonni. It is Italian for Grandmother. We are half Italian and I love that she wanted a part of her heritage to be a part of her being a grandmother.

 

 

A photo of Wayne finishing up one of our DIT projects this week.  I can hardly wait to blog about our latest project. My husband, Wayne loves his tools.........he busy more of them every time we are at a home supply store which is often. Hence the title "A Man & His Tools.  I did this one for the Black & White Wednesday challenge.

2 Wednesday Challenges

Today I am participating in 2 challenges. The first one is Show Off Your Shot and the second one is Black and white Wednesday.

I decided to play with natural indoor light. I love both indoor and outdoor natural light . I hate using flash and as a rule I do not use it. As I was walking past my bedroom a few days ago the sun was coming in softly and I loved the way that my room looked, the way that certain items in my room  looked. I quickly grabbed my camera and started shooting something on my dresser.

 

I took many photos of this particular piece on my dresser from different angles and using different settings. This is just one of my favorite photos that I captured using the lovely light gently shinning into my room.

 

After taking many photos of the flowers on my dresser I decided to make one of them back and white and a little darker then the light really was.

I wont pretend to understand this photo challenge but I like the freedom that it allows me in order to play along. So here I am playing

The most recent photos that I have taken are still on the card in my camera. So I thought that I would share the 3 top favorite photos of Grace that I have taken so far. I can hardly wait to see her on Mother's Day.

All 3 photos were taken when Grace was 6 weeks old. She is now 9 weeks old.
