I am certain that had I been able to go back to Shaker village just a few days after these pictures were taken I would have gotten even more colors of the fall. However, I was not able to. I hope that you enjoy the photos I was able to get.
This is a photo taken of the front of the village from above on a mound of soil and stone. I was pleased that I was able to get the birds flying by.
There are two separate ponds at Shaker Village and each of them are well kept and quite beautiful. I call this pond # 1 since it is the first one that you come to.
This is the same pond just taken from a different side. I love the colors of the trees.
There are many paths to walk at Shaker Village, While walking on this path I had to take a photo here. It was so quiet and so very pretty.
What would a trip to Shaker Village be without stopping by the carriage shed. It really takes me back to a time I have only heard about. But can visualize what it must have been like to ride in one of these carriages many, many years ago.
Here is a close up. As you can see I have lots to learn about taking landscape photos. I think that I am doing well with the macro photos and even some portraits. But landscapes......well if anyone can give me some tips I certainly would be grateful.
Thanks for stopping and Keep smiling. :)
