What A Guy!

This past weekend Wayne went to Sam's Club for a few household items that we needed. That was a huge help to me. Once home Wayne brought in the big package of paper towels, toilet tissue and his weekly supply of Pepsi. While he was unloading the products he said "I have a surprise for you". I couldn't imagine what it was. But in my mind the questions started. Flowers maybe? Perhaps he stopped off at the Pandora store and picked up a "get well" Pandora bead for me? :) He then presented me with........

 

........animal crackers. A 4 pound,low fat,low sugar bottle of Animal crackers. Ha-ha.Wayne said that he saw them and thought of me. I was so surprised!!! I thanked him and smiled. He caught me off guard. Never in my wild dreams would I have imagined him buying me animal crackers. I love that he did this. I love that his thoughtful gift to me made me smile and that it made him happy to see me smiling. Isn't it wonderful what one thoughtful act and one smile can do? I am truly blessed to have this man in my life.

Update: I have an appointment to see a Neurosurgeon on March 7th at 11:00 am at Dartmouth Hitchcock in Lebanon,NH. It is about an hour and a half from where I live. I have mixed emotions right now. I'm scared (because I'm a big wimp) but I'm also glad that I will have a better understanding of what to expect once I've met with the surgeon. I'm feeling more but at the moment I'm having a hard time writing down all of my feelings. I'm sure that's normal. :)

It's Valentines Day

It was quite the day for Wayne and I. He had an intense dental appointment  leaving him in some pain and quite tired. I took care of him until it was time for me to go to my doctors appointment. I have been keeping busy trying to get a neurosurgeon who is in my insurance network. I would like for him to be a good surgeon and who will do the surgery in my hospital. It should not be so hard to do but it is turning out to be quite the experience and a bit difficult. Never the less I am doing my research and *will* find the surgeon I am looking for.  I am a fighter!

 Wayne and I have been keeping up our spirits by making jokes and wishing one another a "Happy Valentines Day" off and on most of the day and night. I gave him a valentines card that I made last year. He really liked it and thought that I had made it for him recently. I had to tell him the truth.............that I did make it for him but that it was made last year. He didn't care he liked it. :)

I am so blessed to have met and married Wayne. I have never had "real" love in my life and had no idea what true love was until we met.  God truly sent me an angel who has a big heart filled lots of love. How lucky am I. Despite a few set backs today Wayne and I had a wonderful Valentines day. I hope you did too. Keep smiling.
