Ciao! I hope that your weather has been as beautiful as ours in NH has been. We have had rain and we have had windy days but the days in between have been lovely. And I am so grateful.
I know how busy everyone is these days so I will keep my post short.
First up is a card that I made for someone who gave me a gift and I wanted to thank her.
It is a simple card and despite it not being perfect I do like it. I used Taylored Expressions dies, Shades of Thanks and a thanks die. To make the sun I used a 1 3/8 "circle punch. The background paper is by Amy Tangerine and is called Plus One.The 6x6 pad of designer paper is sold at at Taylored Expressions. I used black card-stock from Stampin'UP!
I kept my page very simple too. :)
The day that Wayne decided to go out and clean up the fallen tree limbs and small branches it was in the 60's and a bit windy but the sun was shining. I took photos while Wayne worked. He enjoys working on our land and in the gardens, lucky me. I used cards from the Project Life Happy core kit. The dies that I used are all from Taylored Expressions with the exception of the word "hello" that die is from Technique Tuesday. The Happy card-stock I used with the dies is from Project Life. I *love* using the dies to make simple embellishments on my pocket pages.
The circle words are awesome! I use them on almost every page or 2 page spread that I make for my books.
Lastly, a photo that I took of our brook taken on the day that I took all of the photos of Wayne.
The beavers have left us. I am beyond excited to have our brook back. I hope that by summer we will have lots of wildflowers growing on the banks again, that the water will be running the way that it did prior to the not so friendly beavers came to visit us and that our hardwood trees will not be harmed any more. They are very destructive creatures. Thanks so much for visitng with me. I hope that you have a fantastic week.
Stay warm/cool, stay safe and SMILE BIG. :)
