My goodness! It has been snowing (yet again) since early this morning. I know, I know it's still winter.....but I'm ready for spring now. The groundhog has let us all know that spring is 6 weeks away. Then again he always lets us know that we have 6 more weeks to go. I guess I will just have to be patient. :)
I have two pages to share from the photos I took of week 3 in January.
As a rule we see Gracie at least once a month but some months we see her more. Above are a few photos of Gracie checking out my new cabinets and eating. She does love to eat! I used the Baby Edition for Her core Kit by Becky Higgins. The overlay on the lower left photo is also from Becky Higgins.
And these photos of Gracie and her Mom (my eldest granddaughter) leaving the next afternoon. As you can see it was snowing that day too. :) I don't think Gracie wanted to leave us. We tend to spoil her.
I have been adding more die cut words to my pages but I still love keeping my way of documenting simple. For me it's the photos and the journaling. The word "Smile" die is from Sizzix.
The word "Happy" die is from Technique Tuesday. The word "Snow" die purchased from PaperTrey Ink.
I know that many women using the Project Life system are taking photos of every day life most every day. If you have babies, children who are young, in school, teens at home or if you and your family have lots of activities that you do together, I can see taking at least a photo a day for every week . I would. :) I do not fall into the category of having children living at home. So my routine is the same most every day.
So this is what I do. I take photos of Wayne and I when we do something that is different from our daily routine. I love documentiong our lives but who wants to look at our memories of going to PT, a doctor, food shopping each week, every week. I certainly don't. So when Wayne and I go out during the weekend, have family visit us, visit some place that is new or different, our birthdays, anniversaries, special dinners that I make, our summer BBQ's etc. Those are the times that I take photos and document them. Some times I have a month in our Project Life albums that might only have 2 pages and some months I may have 10 pages in a month. That is what works for me. I love Using Project Life for so many reasons but I love that there really isn't a right or wrong way to use it. This year is my 4th year of using PL and I have to say that I love that for me it is fun and brings me joy.........no fuss no muss and no stress. This has been such a blessing to me.
My favorite photo from when Grace was up last.
Age 22 mos. old. She is still a little peanut. :)
Thank you for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed looking at my pages.
Stay safe, stay warm and SMILE BIG!
She is so adorable and not such a peanut Mary, I think she's grown a lot. Give her a big smooch from me.
