I lost my joy for a time but found it just in time for Christmas. :) This year Christmas in my home is all about having as many of our family members being with us to celebrate this magical and wonderful time of the year.
I am so grateful for the lovely and very thoughtful friends that I have in my life. The above ornament was made for me this year by my very dear friend Gail. She sent me lots of handmade ornaments. And they all brought me great joy. :)
Every time I look at our Christmas tree I feel all warm and fuzzy and I smile.
I have been keeping up with my 2013 Project Life book. These photos are of Wayne snow blowing our driveway after our first significant snow storm. It sure was cold that day.......I'm certain that Wayne was not feeling joy at that moment. Maybe I will think about moving down south when Wayne retires. :) I inserted my photos and pocket cards in an H page. I used the Seasons pocket cards and on the bottom photo I used an overlay. It was fun for me to sit down and make a page.
Wayne and I will be seeing our granddaughters and our little Gracie on Friday. Speaking of Grace.............
This photo was taken on Thanksgiving Day. She is a little bundle of happiness and brings a huge amount of joy to all of our hearts.
Merry Christmas to you and to all of your family. I hope this Christmas brings you great joy too.
SMILE!
Glad to read you have rediscovered the joy. Hugs to you and Wayne. The holidays can be difficult to maneuver. I hope yours is a good one.
