Ciao! I remember when I used to blog every day. I remember making cards or altered items to share with you. I shared lots about Wayne and I and our family. I also shared photos of where we went and the things that we did. Time went on and here I am blogging only when I am able to. I named my blog It's All About The Journey for the simple reason of wanting to share my journey with those of you who would like to follow me. Sixteen days later and here is what's happening.
Firstly, I made a digi page of Grace and Great-Grandpa. After lots of playing and laughing together,Gracie gave Wayne a big kiss. It was a moment that I am so grateful to have captured. I used a Negative challenge from, Soul Scrappers to make my page. I also used the MDS program.
Next up............. I have been making Project Life pages and having so much fun using this wonderful system. Right now I am using a smaller book with the pages all ready built in. Becky Higgins came up with the wonderful idea of making a book dedicated to "stories of home". So here are a couple of pages that I have done so far. Years from now it will be awesome when Wayne & I look at the book.
This is the first page of the book. The Stories of Home cards are a free download.
The next two pages are are my bathroom and my office/craft room. If you would like to see the photos and my journaling bigger please click on the photos.
Here is an update on my kitchen Renovation.
The granite was ordered on Monday and should be in within 10-15 days.
The plumber will be in to hook up the water and put in the new faucet after the Granite is installed.
The carpentar will be back in about 0n week to put in the last 2 cabinets.
The electrician will be here as soon as the lighting is in. We ordered the pendant lighting 7 weeks ago so it is late and holding the electrician up. ARGH!!!! So far I have been without a full working kitchen for 2 weeks. I will be so happy when the kitchen can be used. :) So much more to buy yet in order to finish that section of the kitchen. More on that next time I blog.
Thanks so much for stopping by to see what I have been up to. I hope you have a wondeerful rest of the weekend and a fantatsic week.
Stay safe, stay cool and SMILE. :)
