It's All About The Journey: Happy 4th!

Ciao! I had my week all planned as far as crafting went. I had every intention of making a card using card-stock, a digi card, a digi page and to work on my Project Life Books. Due to the torrential down pouring of rain each day It would have been another good week to be busy indoors. However, my week of being creative was not meant to be. My computer crashed the weekend before last. I did not have a virus so I have no idea why it crashed. Anyway, thanks to Wayne he was able to fix it. But that meant his cleaning it out and then restoring my computer again. Once his work was done then mine began. Getting my photos from my External drive,thank goodness I had them all backed up. And that was just the beginning. So, having much time for my catching up with some fun stuff this week did not happen.

Last night I decided that I would make a 4th of July digi card and a digi page. Lo and behold, I forgot to load my MDS program back into my computer. Long story short I had to get help from Stampin'UP! but they were not sure why I could not dowload the MDS part 2 update. So today they sent off a new disk to me. I did make a card but it was using the original MDS. Oh my goodness I forgot how simple the first one was in evey way. So my card is very simple and I do mean simple. :)

See what I mean? I like it but it's not the card that I was hoping to make. I hope to have more time next week so that I can get more accomplished. And to have fun too. :)

On one of the very few days that it did not rain for the past 6-7 weeks I was able to take a lot of snapshots of Gracey playing outdoors in the sun.

Grace loves flowers in her hair. Her Mom put the yellow one in her hair up on her head and over her ear on the rightside. The one on the left she put in her ear which is why it is hanging downward. But was is a 15 month old baby girl to do. :) Oh and the flowers are dandelions which makes them weeds. Ha-ha/ She loved them and thought they were pretty.

Our rain is gone for awhile but our temps are going to be in the 90's with high humidity. But at least the sun will be shining. We are going to have a BBQ on Sunday and I am looking forward to that. Other then that Wayne and I will be taking it easy this weekend. I hope you have a very Happy 4th of July with your family and friends. Here is hoping that we all have a great summer.

Happy 4th of July Mary. Enjoy the sun (finally the rain is done), even thought it's going to be HOT! Fabulous photos of little Grace. She must bring so much joy to the family. :)
