Ciao! I have a birthday card that I made and would like to share with you. I used Stampin'UP! products to make it. Hope you like it. :)
The top of my card looks a bit sloppy because the scoring stylus I used is a bit dull. Time to re-order some new blades. The one thing that I would changed about my card is the ink color of the sentiment. Instead of the Slate Gray I should have used Bermuda Bay to match the first card-stock layer or black. It would have shown up much better. Next time. :)
Wow! What a summer we have been having. First came the heavy rain that started in late May. Here it is July and we are still having heavy rain but with lots of storms. Which means lots of lighning and thunder. Tonight was no different. We have also been having 90-95 degree temps with very high humidity levels. Despite the heat at least we had sun most days since last week. What a pleasure it has been seeing the sun. Now we just need the high heat and humidity to go downward. Yes, I want it all. :)
Due to all of the rain that we have had our brook went up to land line in places. So with camera in hand I went down and took a few shots of it and of Wayne in his inflatable boat. Mind you, it is at this time of the year that the water in our brook is very low. No so this year.
See the little fake looking boat with the fake little guy in it? That's Wayne. Ha-ha.
Here is Wayne getting closer to the land line where I was taking photos. The current was fairly strong that day so I decided to stay on ourr land. Yup, I am a wimp. :)
Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope that you are staying cool, staying safe and SMILING BIG. :)
love the card, especially the little heart. love the photos too!

Great job on the card. Glad to see you making cards again. Loved the picture of Wayne. Thanks for sharing it with us. We leave for a weeks vacation at the cottage tomorrow. Our son and his family are driving up from Nova Scotia to spend some time with us. We have had the scorching hot weather too but no storms to speak up. Sure hope it is cooler at the cottage, with my breathing and all. Have a good one and stay cool. Hugs n' Stuff, Lynne
