It's All About The Journey

Hello Fall

Ciao! This is my favorite time of the year! I love all the colors and the smells  that the fall brings us. I always look forward to buying mums for the front of my home and of course I *love* watching the leaves on our trees turn color. The colors are always spectaclular and have yet to dissapoint me. 

I love the crisp & clean fresh air that the Autumn brings. And of course I love making a homemade apple pie using the fresh apples that we picked from our local apple orchard.

 

This year I had help making the apple pie. Jennifer, my daughter,peeled all of the apples for me as well as cutting them up. What a wonderful time saver for me. Thanks Jen. :)

Here is where the fun begins . I love mixing all of the ingredients together. The smell is wonderful & tastes good too. :)  

 

I do not make my own pie shell or pie crust. I have tried a few times through out my life and lets just say that it was not very good. So I use the already made pie shell made by pillsbury. Above is the apple pie that Jen and I made together. It was yummy!

Last but not least, I have a photo of Molly and Grace that I took at Meadowledge farm.

 

Many people sit up on this antique tractor and have thier photos taken. I asked Molly if she would like her photos taken there and of course she said yes. Grace loved the steering wheel. It was very funny to watch her trying to move it. I have lots of photos of her trying. Ha-ha-she is such a hoot. 

Oh! I did get the ebosser machine and will be giving my personal review in my next post. If you bought it I would love to hear what you think about it. Also I would love to hear what you love about the fall.

Ciao! The summer is winding down and the fall is right around the corner which means Wayne and I will be very busy taking portraits. Thankfuly, we have family who are very willing to help us this year. :)

 I have a page that I would like to share. I am so grateful that I was able to take time to make a page of none other but the amazing Grace. I am trying to make a book for her. These photos were taken at the park near to where she lives. She was 5 months old. Poor little thing was hurting badly with a tooth that has been trying to come through. But she was a little trooper trying to smile and letting me take photos of her.

Wayne and I were asked to take my nephew's senior photographs.  It was our first time working with a young man. But I think it went very well. As soon as my sister chooses the photos that she would like for me to order I will be able to share a few of his senior photos.

 I took this photo of my neice, Renee, Lars(nephew) and my sister Deirdre. 

 

 And at the end of the day Wayne took a photo of Jen(my daughter),me, Deirdre and Renee.

 

A photo of Wayne and I behind the scenes of the photo shoot. Wayne and I like to do take a phot of  one another at each shoot.  Not sure why but it does make a nice memory for the two of us. :)

Sunflowers

 Ciao! I hope your all having a wonderful weekend. I have been keeping busy and that is a very good thing. Today I  will be taking my nephews Senior portraits. I am looking forward to it  but as always I hope to do a good job and that the experience will be fun for him. :)

Speaking of photos. I am a week late in uploading my Photo Ops card that I made to share with you. Hope you like it and if you have any other suggestions to add please let me know. Oh and I made this by using the MDS program from Stampin'UP!

 

I also have  a couple of other Sunflower photos to share with you. I hope they will inspire you enough to get your camera, get out and take some of your own. :)

 

Have you ever seen a pink Sunflower? I never had until this year. My PT has a beautiful garden of flowers outside her office windows and each week that I brought my camera with me,there I was taking photos of them. I *love* The pink Sunflowers.

 And of course there were lots and lots of yellow sunflowers to photograph as well. I  did take at least 50 photos but the two that I am sharing are my favorite.  This one has a bee flying right towards the flower. If you would like to see it just double click on my photo.
