This will be a quick post. Good to hear right? :) Seriously I have so much to do but I still wanted to share what I have been up to this week. Well, some of it anyway.
I made a very simple Halloween card for the PPA110-Fashion Inspiration-Bewitched-AND Blog Candy. If your looking for inspiration to make your Halloween cards stop by and see all of the wonderful designs at the PPA site.
Here is my card:
Stamps: Dark & Dreary and Wicked Cool. Inks: Early Espresso, Soft Suede and Cajun Craze.Card-stock: Very Vanilla and Cajun Craze. DP: Well Worn. I used a mini vintage tag, Early Espresso/white bakers twine and Victoria crochet trim. All of these projects are from Stampin'UP!
This week I made a page for the song/lyric challenge at Soul Scrappers.
Although I did not use the MDS papers and embellishments I did use the program to build my page the papers etc... are made from Rasberry Road Designs.
The week before last Wayne and I had a chance to go to Ongnquit Beach, Maine. What a beautiful beach. If you like walking along the shore line then you will love this beach. Wonderful little shops, lots of restaurants and very friendly people. We will be going back next summer for sure. Although we took photos of the ocean we also took photos of one another. We took lots of them but I have 2 I would like to share with you.
Here is a photo I took of Wayne.
And here is a photo that Wayne took of me.
I'm not sure why our photos are coming out some what distorted. Any photos that Ipost on my blog or on my facebook for the past couple of months have not been coming out clear. However, in person they are very clear and look good. If any of you have any suggestions I certainly would love to hear them. I will be doing some research this week and hope I can get some answers. But I hope that you enjoy looking at the photos that I've posted.
I have a busy week coming up and hope to get some stamping time in. No freebie word art this week. Sorry about that but I truly have not had time to do it. That's it from me on this Monday early morning.
Thank you very much for stopping by my blog. I hope that you all have a fantastic week ahead. Remember to stay safe, stay cool and Smile. :)
Great card, Mary. I love all the dark, sombre colours and macabre bird and the total contrast with the lace. Gothic gorgeousness.

The card is just right for Halloween. It reminds me of Poe and the raven quoting 'nevermore.' The digi page is lovely. Your pictures are great and are clear to me. I especially like the one of you...very pretty...love your hair! Have a great week Mary and post more pics from Maine. Thanks for sharing!
