It's Saturday and what a wonderful day it has been. But I digress. This week I have a clean and simple card for you. I used the PPA 105 - Celebrity Color Challenge. My card is simple. As all my cards are. I like keeping my cards simple, fast and easy to do. So if you like simple then your visiting the right blog. :)
Here is my card.
Stamps: Language of Friendship and On the Grow (sentiment). Card-stock: Whisper White, So Saffron,Lucky Limeade and Island Indigo.Inks: Island Indigo. Punch: Bird Builder. Accessories: Vintage Wallpaper Embossing folder and Whisper White bakers twine. All products listed are from Stampin'UP!
I have a page to share with you. I used a challenge from Soul Scrappers to make my page. Love their challenges. :)
Here is my page.
I made this page using of one of the engagement photos of Colleen and Peter. Slow but sure I am making a book for them I hope to have it all made by Christmas. I used the MDS program from Stampin'UP! I made my title using PS. You can find the free download at the end of this post
I have so many photos to share with all of you. Due to there being too many photos I decided to share 4 of them using a template. I hope that you will be able to view them okay. I have added them to my photo blog so they will be larger to view .
Wayne and I took a day trip to York Beach Maine on Thursday. We had a wonderful day even though there was a storm coming in. The sea breeze was wonderful. The smell was awesome and the sound of the waves coming in was just what I needed to hear. I love the ocean. It make me feel refreshed and at peace . If we ever win the lottery then buying a home in York Beach would be at the top of my list of things to do. :) It was a perfect day to take photos because the sun disappeared soon after we got there. No bright sunshine to deal with Yay!
Wayne and I have been taking lots of day trips this summer. If I were able to travel long distances then we would be going to places that neither one of us has ever been to. Not the case this summer so I am grateful for the places that I can go to and I am very grateful to have a husband that is happy to just be with me no matter the distance. We make each trip an adventure and that's what counts. :)
Well that is it from me for now. I have lots more to share with all of you and will be doing so each week. I hope that you all have an awesome week. I hope that it rains if you need it and cooler if it is too hot. I hope that you will remember to stay safe and smile at least once a day. Smile. :) Oops! Thank you very much for stopping by to see me.
Feel free to download for your personal use.
what a darling card. I love these photos. Your day trip sounds delightful. I have always wanted to go to Maine. As usual, your page is amazing.

Oh my goodness, that is the lighthouse we went to when we visited Maine many years ago. I was in awe of just standing there looking at the beautiful lighthouse with the red. When i win the lottery, i too will get a house there and we will be neighbors. LOL Have a wonderful day!!!

Lovely card Mary. That bird looks really pretty and the colors show up so nicely. oh, I so wish to to to York. We were going to go last month, but a failed watertank stopped and we haven't gotten another chance yet. Must have been really nice! Fabulous pictures as usual.
