This week a few unexpected things happened so I only have a card and two photos to share with you. At least it will be a short post. :)
First up is the card that I made by using this weeks PPA103-Sketch Challenge.
Here is my card.
Stamps: Daring Adventure. Card-stock: Very Vanilla, Cajun Craze, So Saffron, and Soft Suede. Inks: Early Espresso and Soft Suede. Dp: Well Worn. Accessories:Mini Libray clip, Early Espresso Taffeta ribbon, 1" round punch and Live Every Moment Embosslit die. Every thing listed is from Stampin'UP!
I did make a scrap page and Word Art for this post but it is on my old computer that is at Best Buy and has been for the past 4 days. Wayne bought me a new computer because my computer is filled to the max. So all of my files from my older PC are being transferred over to the new one. I hope to have it by tomorrow night. That being said I am using my Laptop. Although I have the MDS on my laptop I do not have many photos and I do not have my photo editors on it so all I can do is surf the net, read blogs and read my email. I will have to start adding some programs to my laptop very soon!
I do have 2 photos to share because I had them on one of my flash drives.I had them all set to go for this week. :)
Both photos were taken from our visit at Shaker Village a few weeks ago.
This photo was taken in one of my very favorite buildings. It is called the Herb House. This is where the herbs that were grown by the Shakers were brought in to dry. Every time I visit this house I see an old bottle, shelving or some small item that I had not noticed before. I also love the way that the sun comes through the windows.
Speaking of shelves......I could not resist taking a photo of some of the herbs all ground up and put into large jars. Wayne thought I was being a tad silly taking this photo but the old wood behind the jars, the shelf that the jars are on and the jars themselves spoke to me. I love taking photos of people places and things that speak to me. :) That's just my style.
Well that is all I have to show you this week. It truly has been a crazy kind of week. Even our weather has been crazy. On Friday our temperature was 100 degrees and very humid. But after a week of 90's we did have a lovely 87 degree day that was very was nice. Most of the US has been stuck in this high heat and high humidity. I sure hope that every one has some cooler days on the way.
Thank you very much for stopping by to see what I have been up to. I hope that all of you have a very happy week ahead of you. Remember to stay safe, stay cool and Smile. :)
I love this week's card, Mary! The 24/7 embellishment is the perfect touch! And your photographs are fabulous, as usual! Congrats on getting a new computer! Woo hoo!

Good Morning Mary: I also love the pictures of the herbs in the jars :o) Just got back from the cottage, good to get away but also good to get home especially to the air conditioning. On top of the heat we had awful biting deer flies ouchie ouchie. Have a good week and stay cool. Hugs n' Stuff, Lynne
