I really do hate change. Good or bad big or small I do not deal well with change in my life. As I get older I am finding it even more difficult. I haven't always been this way and I am not sure as to why I am now. I bring this up only because I have made a scrap page on this subject for a scrap challenge at Soul Scrappers. You will find it right after I post my card. :)
This week I have not done the challenges that I participate in weekly. But I have made a card. I like the way that it came out and I hope you do too.
Here is my card.
Stamp Sets: Filled with Love, Artistic Etchings, You're a gem and Nature walk. Card-Stock: Very Vanilla, Basic Black and Riding Hood Red. Inks:Basic Black, Riding Hood red and Tea stain from the distressing Essentials. The designer papers are from: Newsprint and Love Letter .Embellishments: Trinket key,Vintage trinkets ,Victoria Crochet trim and pearls. I also used the scalloped heart and beautiful wings embosslits. The punches that I used are: Full heart extra large punch and the Spiral Border punch. All products that I used are from Stampin'UP!
I had a lot of fun making this card. It has been a long time since I have used the distressing technique and realized how much I missed using it. Making this card took lots longer then I had intended it to. I started out not making a Valentines Day card and in mid stream I changed my entire design. I hope you like this card as much as I do.
Here is a challenge that I did late last week for Soul Scrappers.
If you would like to see my page larger please click on it.
I used The My Digital Studio program to make this page. I made Word Art to use as my title if you would like to have it please clic on 4Shared to download it. Rremember even if you do not do digital pages you can use it on one of your photos. In this case a photo that would make you think of how much you hate change.........if you even hate change. :)
Last but not least, I have a few photos to share of Wayne shoveling about 3 feet of snow off of our roof.
Wayne did this on Saturday when it was only 20 degrees outdoors.
Here he is taking a break. Poor guy.
He finished up the front side of the roof but was too tired to do the back. He did finish shoveling the roof today. After getting more snow and and rain and sleet and a thunderstorm (go figure) it was 30 degrees outdoors and sunny today(Sunday) while he was up on the roof for round two. I hope that this will be the last time this year that Wayne has to do that. It makes me very nervous.
Thank you very much for stopping by. I really appreciate it. I will be back next week with crafts and photos to share with you. I hope you have a fantastic week. Remember to stay safe, stay warm and Smile. :)
Your card is so chic. I love the red, cream, black combo and the bp is perfect. The lace bow finishes it off wonderfully. Your photos made me smile. All that snow! We have a severe weather warning for this afternoon so we may have a few surprises in store too.

Great card and great page, Mary! Thanks for sharing the photos, too. Poor Wayne! We have not shoveled our roof. The cold is back here, again. Extremely cold windchills are what we are looking forward to - NOT!

Your card is beautiful. I love that set. I hope Wayne doesn't have to shovel any more snow. That looks really dangerous.

The vintage Valentine card is just beautiful, and the lace adds a romantic touch! I don't like change either, Mary. I really never have liked it and more so now since I'm older. And, I am not going to complain about snow anymore...hope you and Wayne stay warm and the spring thaw comes early. :)
