Hi Ladies, It has been a week since I've last posted. Lots has been going on my way. But more on that later. :) Tonight I was finally able to make a card. It sure did feel great to make a card. As most of you know I have been busy making lots of digital pages using the MDS program from SU. I think that most of you also know I love making pages and that I am making 11 books to give as Christmas gifts. But when I took time out today to make a card for the PPA62- All Buttoned Up, I felt great! I did not realize how much I've missed making cards more often until today. I hope that I will be able to start making them more often.
Here is my card.
Here is what I used:
Stamps: Dark & Dreary and Wonderfully Worn Background. Inks: Black Stazon, and Cajun Craze. Card-stock:Whisper White, Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry,Cajun craze and a strip of Wicked Fun specialty paper. I used th Top Note die, photo corners large, 3 buttons and twine. I punched out the circle with the number 31 and popped it up. I also popped up the Top Note die. Every thing I used is from Stampin''UP! with the exception of the twine.
The biggest challenge for my not posting was the battle I was having with the new27" IMac that Wayne bought me. The brand new IMacs have the computer inside of the monitor. Becuase I have 2 herniated discs in my neck I was not able to look at the monitor for more then 10minutes at a time without hurting. Hard as I tried to over come this issue the IMac won......I lost and Wayne and I had to bring it back Saturday afternoon. They do make a 21 " and I would have happily purchased that but for what my needs are it would not have been worth the money. I was very impressed with the speed and the resolution of the 27. Oh well, it was not meant to be. But trust me, I really did try to make it work. :)
Other then having very strange weather all of last week and having lots ofappointments and errands to run things were quiet here. Ha-ha. My daughter and 2 granddaughterscame over on Wed. We are now having a "girls" night out once a month. We all had a great time. I could g on chattting but I am sure that you have lots to do and oh my gosh I just realized that it is 3:30 AM.
I have 2 photos to share with you. I am trying to make a smile box but the music is not working so I will try again for the next time I post.
Here is a photo of Wayne with the apple bucket. We went apple picking week before last.
Here is a photo of me after we were all finsished picking apples.
Thanks for stopping by. :) Until next time, stay cool or warm, stay safe and Smile. :)
So sorry your new imac didn't work out, Mary! I have the MacBook laptop & really love it. Hope all those issues get worked out so you can enjoy being online. Looks like you had fun picking apples. Hope you have a blessed Lord's Day!

This card is so cute - the colors are spot on for Halloween and I love how you used the Top Note! Sorry about your new computer but you do have to be comfortable when you use it!

Love the halloween card Mary. Too bad about your neck hurting while you type. That wouldn't be a good thing for me. I feel like I live on the computer some days. Have a great week.
