Hi Ladies, I have been out straight this week.It's summer and I try and get out when the weather is good. On the very hot days I like to sit out on my patio and just listen to the birds,water my gardens and kick back and relax. As many of you all ready know fall is my favorite season. But because our winters are long and cold I am stuck indoors longer then I would like to be. Therefore I enjoy being outdoors when weather permits.  I have been making pages for my books that I will be giving to my children for Christmas this year. I think I'm on schedule for my large but fun project.  I would love to share with you my latest page that I made for my son and daughters book about me. After that I will be listing retired Stampin' Up stamp sets and other stamps as well.

In making this page for a challenge at Soul Scrappers I was able to make a page about myself. I hope that my children will like what they see and learn about me. :)

In all honesty my daily To do List is lots longer then what I have on my page.  Do you make a To Do list? I have to or I would not get as much accomplished as I need to. I will be back with a card very soon.

***Going back and forth to the post office to find out how much a set can be mailed at a cheaper price is no longer an option for me.The gas and the time that it takes for me to do this is costly. All of my stamps are in excellent condition and worth way more then what I am asking for them.  I hope that you understand. Thank you. :)

A Digital Collage Scrapbook Page Challenge.

Hi Ladies, today I am hosting a challenge at  Soul Scrappers. My challenge is super easy and super fast to do. If you do not do digital scrap-booking but you like to create scrap pages the traditional way you are welcome to join in the fun too. Both of these collage pages were so easy, fast and fun to make. When ever I make a collage scrapbook page for one of my books I make another page to go with it. A page that tells more of the story. I hope you will join me. :)

So what did you do today? It was a gorgeous day here in NH. Only in the low 80's with a cool breeze. The humidity was only in the 50's. What a great day. So what did Wayne and I do today?:)

We went to the..............

laundromat. :) We have a  large washer and dryer at home but when I have to clean our king sized comforter it will not fit im my big washer. I just happen to have my point and shoot with me so............

for the fun of it we took a few pictures. Wayne thinks I'm silly but I like recording just about everything through photos.

 
Okay so some times I go a little too far . We also took my car through the car wash. I took photos of that from inside the car. To post those photos might be a tad scary looking.  I also went for a wonderful 2 mile walk. All in all it was a wonderful day. I hope your day was good one too.  Thanks for stopping by to see me.

Eat Cake and A Few Photos

Hello Ladies, today I was able to finally sit down long enough to make a card for the PPA 52- A sketch challenge.A soon as I saw the sketch I knew exactly what I wanted to make. I need to start making birthday cards for next year so that Will not be behind like I was this year. The card I made is for our youngest grandson Caleb. His birthday isn't until next April. But that is one card that I can check off of my list of cards to make.

Here is what I used.

Stamp set: Everything Nice. The ink I used is Pacific Point. Card-Stock used is Whisper White, Pacific Point, Pear Pizzaz, and Really Red. I also used DP from Celebrations. I used the perfect Polka dots embossing folder, A bashful blue grosgrain ribbon and the number 7was made from using the Alphabet Simple Numbers. As a rule I make cards using earth-tone or light colors. But lately I am loving the new brights and In colors. I have a feeling I just might be making lots more cards using bright colors. :) All products used are from Stampin'UP!

I have a few photos to share of Wayne and I going blueberry picking this weekend. I wanted to bring my digital/SLR but it was 90degrees and the humidity was oppressive once again. So I brought along a small point and shoot that I use when I walk.

Here is a photo of Wayne walking between one of the many blueberry bushes. I hink he ate almost as many berries as he had in his bucket.

  Here I am with my bucket and smiling for the camera. If I look tired, very hot and washed out it's because I was. My hair was wet and my neck and back were drenched due to the humidity and heat. But I was determined to keep going and get lots of blueberries. I forgot to bring my hat which would have given me a little shade. The owner of the farm that Wayne and I go to came over and gave us each a bottle of cold water. He did that for everyone who was there. I thought that was such a kind and very sweet thing to do. I drank all of the water and after being there for about 45 minutes I *had* to leave. But both Wayne and I filled up our buckets so I will be eating berries every day and making my annual homemade blueberry cake. I think there are only about 7  days left to pick blueberries. Due to all of the heat and humidity and very little rain all of our plants, our flowers and fruits are blooming faster and leaving us faster.  But tomorrow is suppose to be in the low 80's and very low humidity so I will be out taking a long walk. Yay!
