Hello Ladies. Wowzer! Because this week went by so fast I hardly had time enough to catch my breath. Surely you have had weeks like that. I sure hope that things slow down soon because I would hate to have summer over too fast.
Tonight I made a card for the PPA 48 Sketch challenge. Margaret Moody always hosts wonderful sketches and I love participating in them.
Here is my card.
Here is what I used.
All of the products are from Stampin'UP! The card-stock that I used are, Crumb Cake, very Vanilla and Early Expresso. The inks that I used are Early Expresso and Crumb Cake. The stamps that I used are from Elements of Style (mini catalog) and Occasional Quotes (Hostess set level 2). Both of these stamp sets are beautiful! Iused a mini Library clip, a button from the Latte buttons and I threaded the Early Expresso ribbon through the button holes. The punch that I used is Scallop edge no longer available after June 30. I sure will miss it.:(
I have been busy this weekend with celebrating Wayne's birthday. I do believe that he had a wonderful day of shopping. I enjoyed watching him choose the items that he wanted for his birthday. I took him to the Outback for dinner because that is one of his favorite restaurants. He is a steak lover..............not me, yuck! But I was happy to go with him. :) Once we got home I had to take photos of him with his gifts and of course his birthday cake. We also stopped at Walmart so that we could see the two race cars that they had on display.
Here are only 3 photos of Wayne's birthday night.
Underneath the white golf hat are quite a few DVd's, Blue Ray movies a Wii game and two computer games.
Wayne looking at and reading the digital scrap book that I made for him. He absolutely* loves* it!
I took a photo of Wayne's most favorite gifts from me. :)I have so many photos to share and will as soon as I get the time to make a smile box. Way too many photos to put on my blog.
I went to Home Depot to see the race car and truck and thought that I would share a photo of me that a man working at the display took of me standing near the car. Isn't it cool.?
Here is just one of the many photos I took of the car and truck that day.
I will be making a smilebox of all of the cars and trucks we saw this weekend. But for now these are the only photos I feel I should share because I know that all of you have lots to do today and would rather not spend too much time reading and looking at photos on my blog. :) Thank you so much for stopping by and visiting with me today.
I hope that all of you had as wonderful a weekend as Wayne and I did. I will be back soon.
Stay safe, stay cool and Smile. :)
Today we
Beautiful, Mary! I love the look of the Early Espresso ribbon threaded through the button. Great color combination, and I love the mini-clip! Thanks for playing @ PPA!

Cool!
I didn't know you were a Nascar fan too!
My driver was Dale Jarrett until he retired, now it's Carl Edwards. I just love how he can flip off the top of the car when he wins.
Sweet card too!
Hugs,
Gina
