Hi Ladies, due to my being so busy this week the days and nights have flown right by me. It is so hard for me to grasp the fact that it is almost June. Yikes! I wish that I could have done some stamping this week but that had to be put on the back burner due to all I had to do. I do have a few photos and one page to show you. I made this page about 2 weeks ago and it is one of my favorites.
I used the MDS from Stampin'UP!I love that SU keeps adding more stamp, papers etc. to download into the MDS. This page was made for a challenge on Soul Scrappers and fortunately for me SU had just released the new digital Sporting stamps. This page is for a book that I am making for Molly. My sweetMolly is graduating on June 12th. I am excited for her but I'm sad that she has grown up so fast. I made this page the size of 8 1/2 x 11" Hope you like my page.:)
Recently, I purchased a necklace from Becky of Farmgirl Paints. As soon as I saw her design I fell in love with it. I love unique jewelry. I don't care if it is in real gold, Sterling silver or metal. I would like to share a photo of what I received. Becky's pendants can be seen on the right hand side of her blog. I have gotten quite a few compliments on my new necklace already.:) Sorry about the black frame being chopped off a bit.
Becky painted the flower isn't it beautiful? The pendant is all handmade. And it is a one of a kind little piece of art that goes around my neck. I asked her if she could put the word "Hope" on my necklace and she did!!! I love going to Becky's blog. I always leave there feeling so good. She shares her lovely day to day stories and photos. Love it!
Last but not least here are a few photos of Wayne and I at York Beack Maine. We went there after my dentist appointment. Thankfully, my appointment was at 3:45pm because I'm not suppose to be out in the sun . It was 90 degrees and the sun was very, very bright. Wayne and I had to walk around to some of the gift shops for awhile due to the sun.
Finally we were able to go to Nubble Light and then off to the Long Sands Beach so that we could be closer to the water. Unfortunately the sun was still quite bright so we walked a bit, I got my feet wet and Wayne and I took a few photos. I would have loved to have stayed later but I was not able to.
Here is a photo of Nubble Light. Ugh! A part of the photo is chopped off.
I was so surprised at how cold the water was! Can you see the shock on my face?
Wayne and I. Wayne did not take off his shoes so in the end they did get wet. Ha-ha. This photo was taken at around 5:30 pm and still the sun was way too strong. I am squinting in this photo. Oh well, it's still a memory. The sea breeze was delightful.
This weekend Wayne and I will be having a BBQ. My daughter, her boyfriend and the children will be coming. It will be good to see all of them. I hope that you have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. I also hope that you will remember the men and women who have served and are serving to help keep our country protected.
Thanks so much for stopping by to see what I have been up to this week. Stay safe and Smile. :)
