Hi ladies. It has been a week since I last posted anything on my blog. I won't make excuses. The fact is I've been very busy doing every day stuff! Paper crafting was not on my list of things to do until today. I have had a wonderful week and if you would like to know more of what I have been up to then please read my Personal Ramblings.
The card that I made was for the weekly PPA challenge. This week it was the KISS (keep it simple sweetie) challenge. Since I love making very simple cards this one is my favorite challenge.:)
All of the products that I used are from Stampin'UP! from The stamp set that I used is a brand new set called Enjoy the Journey. It took me no more then 10 minutes to make this card. So there you have it! A very quick, simple and easy card to make.
Personal Ramblings
As I stated above I have been very busy this week. I had lots of places to go and people to see. I also had lots of things that I needed to get done in my home. I have been so far behind on all of my daily chores. I have been walking just about every day that the weather has been nice. That was most of this week. I did have to skip a day due to my knees going off track. Ouch! I hate when that happens. They are all good for now. :) On Thursday my daughter brought my granddaughter Darcy over. She is 12 years old and such a sweetie. She washed and polished all of my kitchen cabinets. How sweet was that??? On Friday I took her shopping at the mall near to where I live and we bought her a few things at Aeropostale. She will be 13 in December so of course it is important to her that she has "cool clothes". :) She loves the hoody sweatshirts just like do. I wonder if that makes me a little cool. It was such fun watching her choose the things that she wanted. Oh to be young again. After that I had to stop by and look at some of the new things at Kay jewelers. No, I did not buy any thing but I love window shopping almost as much as I do buying. I was sad that Darcy had to go home on Saturday. The next time she comes up she and I will be scrapbooking and making cards together. She seems to be my only granddaughter so far who has an interest in paper crafting :)
Here are 2 photos that I have to share with you. I took lots more but have not had time to edit the size. So here are 2 of Darcy and I at the mall.
Darcy hates having her picture taken which is why she is not looking at me. I took it while she was walking past me.
I had Darcy take my photo at the jewelery counter. :)
Don't ya just love how the lighting in these stores make the diamonds sparkle more then they do in "real" light.
Well, I'm off to watch Celebrity Apprentice and the Tudors with Wayne. We do not watch TV together very often but it has become a tradition for us to watch something on Sunday nights. Thank you for stopping by. I hope to be blogging more then once a week.
I hope that all of you have a fantastic week. Stay safe and smile. :)
Lovely to hear from you again, Mary. I too like simple cards and your bicycle one is just wonderful!

Love your card Mary. It seems that this time of the year is always spent either outside getting the yard ready, or so called spring cleaning. I am also really behind on lots of things. It is understandable you weren't on the computer expecially when the grand daughter was with you. Have a great week. ttys Hugs n' Stuff, Lynne

Your card is DARling. I need your granddaughter to come and clean and polish my cabinets. I'd take her to Aeropostale, too! What a sweetheart.
