Hi ladies. Tonight I am blogging about a project that is personal to me. As some of you may or may not know I have been designing digital pages for Erika Martins new community called Soul Scrappers. Not only is this community about scrapbooking but there are also cards and some altered projects there as well. If I had to take a guess then my guess would be that the community consists of about 95 %of women who use only Stampin'UP! products. Lots of lovely women there.
I host a digital challenge every 4-5 weeks. I use the My Digital Studio program from Stampin'UP!Once in awhile I will add a page that I make using Photoshop. Okay so back to my project. I call it Project 12. Project 12 is where you make one scrap or digi page per month with photos that you took of your every day life that month. At the end of the year you will have 12 pages about you and about what you did each month. If you want to know more about it please go here. It's all just for fun and for the gift of memories that you can give to yourself or to your family.
Here is my January Project 12 page.
I love the idea that at the end of 2010 I will be able to look back at my January page and see what was going on in my every day. What do you think? Good idea? Not a good idea? This page was made within 15 minutes. It took me less then 2 minutes to print out and it's all set to go into a scrapbook. To me and to my children this book will be priceless. By the way I printed out 3 copies of this page. I am making three of the same book. One for my daughter, son and Wayne. One day it will be passed down to my grandchildren and great-grand children. I love that thought even more. So this is my craft for today. I will be back with a card the next time I blog.:)
Personal Ramblings
On Monday, the day before our bad weather began and before I did my errands, I went for a 30 minute walk. It was 43 degrees and the sun was shining. It was a bit cold but I was thrilled to be out walking. I'm so glad that I did it not only for my well being but because the next 4 days were going to be bad. Tuesday wasn't too bad but it did snow at times. Then all heck broke out early Tuesday morning right into today, Wednesday. Lots of snow then lots of rain that washed away most of the snow. Snow again and then pouring rain. Right now we are having a break but in the morning we are back to snow, rain, heavy winds and possible flooding. There is a new name for what we are going through. It is called a Snowacane. Seriously, I heard the new name on the news this afternoon. I thought to myself......now that is a very cool name! Anyway, we are in this pattern until at least Friday afternoon and Saturday is not looking too good either. Spring is just a little over 3 weeks from now. Hooray!!! I am thrilled about that.
On a positive note having to stay inside is helping me to catch up on the things that I need to get done in my home.:)
Thank you for stopping by my blog. I hope that you are having a wonderful week. I'll be back when I have a card to share with you. Until then...........stay warm, stay safe and Smile.:)
Love what you are doing. What kind of printer are you using to print out the pages? Is it a 12x12? I am so ready for warm weather too. We are on our way back to PA from FL, but are staying in NC til we find out what this snowstorm is doing. Be safe and stay warm.

It sounds like a great idea. We too easily forget the little unimportant things of our daily lives and yet when we look back on them, they catch the essence of what we are.
Keep it up!

Great page, Mary, and what a great idea! What a wonderful way to preserve memories of "every day life."

What a great idea.....I am going to 'borrow" it and use the concept to make monthly pages of my grandsons, ages 3 and 7 months. I babysit every Friday and have lots of photos. Thanks Mary!
