Hello Ladies. I hope that all of you had a wonderful weekend. I have a little Valentines Day Favor and card to share with all of you. I am making them for all of the children in our family. So after I finished one of them last night I decided I would post it to my by blog and participate in the Pals Paper Arts , Anything But A card Challenge . Now all I have to do is finish up the remaining six that are all ready for me to put together.
Here are the Favor and the 3"x3" card that I made to go with it.
Here is what I used to make the set.
The favor was made by using the Stampin'UP! Fancy Favor die . This is the third time I am making little favors for the children. As far as I am concerned this die certainly has paid for itself. Not just for the price I paid for it but for the huge smiles I have gotten from the children. I love this die. I used the Sending Love specialty paper #117153, Whisper White and Chocolate chip card-stock. I also used Chocolate Chip ink. To make the hearts I used the Full Heart punch and the
Scalloped heart of Heart embosslit# 117332 . Love this too. The little pink heart was made by using the Small heart # 117193. I popped up the hearts to make them 3 dimensional. I added both Whisper White and Pretty In pink grosgrain ribbon. Inside my favor I added lollipops and Hershey kisses.
The card is a 3x3note card.I used Whisper white, Chocolate Chip and Pretty In Pink card-stock. I used a strip of matching paper from the favor box so that it would tie back to the box. I used the Pinking Hearts Border punch# 117649 on the top and the bottom of the paper. I used the sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set. To finish off my little love note card I added a button from the Latte collection and used white thread. For the boys I used the red designer papers from the Sending Love collection. I hope to get them finished by next week. I can hardly wait to see their little smiles again when they are each given one.
By the way the lollipops were purchased at Wal-mart in the candy selection. They were only 1.00 each. Aren't they pretty? I hope they taste as good as they look. :)

I thought that I would share just 2 photos of Wayne that I took yesterday afternoon.
Yup! Wayne was up on the roof yesterday and today too. We have a big rain storm coming tonight lasting until very late Monday night. We are going to be in a flood watch tomorrow until Tuesday morning. Lots of high winds are expected tomorrow by mid afternoon with very heavy rain and even some thunder. So the snow had to come off of the roof. Poor guy. This makes the third year in a row that Wayne has had to go up on the roof.
What a good sport. I asked him to smile for me after he had come down from the roof of the house and the garage . And he did. :) I love taking photos of him.
I think that I have taken up enough of your time so I will stop here. Thank you very much for stopping by my blog. It means a lot to me. Stay safe, stay warm and don't forget.........Smile. :)
What a pretty card and favor box Mary! Love the pretty paper, the hearts... such a pretty saying... the lollipops do look delicious! :o)

Mary, this little card and the treat bag are soooooooooo gorgeous, really!! I think I'll need to get a crafting and make one myself. I am sure of one thing though...it will not be as gorgeous as yours. I am blown away by the detail you've out into it.....you know it is the little things that make projects pop and this is so true for yours!!! I LOVE it!!! Oh my, I am getting all nervous watching Wayne on the roof....pretty scary!! YOu guys have been having some funny weather and I hope that it will not be as bad as predicted. Stay warm my friend. Hugs and blessings, Sabrina

We've had our rain & have no more snow - hopefully it will warm up some! I can see why your grandchildren adore you - you're always coming up with such sweet surprises for them!

The card and treat box are so cute! I especially like the paper that you used for the box. Hope your weather gets better and no flooding.....and I hope that Wayne doesn't have to push the snow off the roof again!

Love these projects, Mary! Great selection of paper for the treat bag! And the suckers look yummy! We just got through the heavy rains in Iowa, and are back to blowing snow! However, the sun is predicted to shine this weekend...with highs in the teens! And, thanks for playing @ PPA! I always love seeing what you have created!
