Hello Ladies. I wanted to share with you a very simple and very quick card that I made this afternoon. I decided it was hight ime for me to use the Patterned Pines set from the Stampin'UP! Holiday mini catalog. By now, I'm sure all of you have seen it some where out there on the internet or in person. The set really is sweet and I wish that I had used it to make my cards this year. Oh well, there is always next year. Anyway, I wanted to take part in this weeks Pals Paper Arts challenge so I chose this set to make a very quick Christmas card. I do believe that this will be my last Christmas card for this year.:)
Here is My card.
As you can see, I used a very limited amount of products to make my card. Every thing that I used is from Stampin"UP!
Here is what I used.
As mentioned above I used the Patterned Prints stamp set for my image. I used a sentiment from the the Grateful Greetings SU set. The card-stock is Very Vanilla and Old Olive, I used Old Olive ink, Old Olive ribbon, A round 3/4" punch from SU and I used the Petals-A- Plenty Textured impression. Becuase I wanted some sparkle on my card I also used the Champagen mist. I wish that you could see the shimmer. It really is very pretty. I love the Shimmer paints. Stampin'UP will still be selling them even when the Holiday mini catalog is no longer valid. I am thrilled about tha becuase I want to stock up on lots of these little paints.
Personal Ramblings.
As I am typing this I am listening to some very beautiful Christmas songs. Have you been able to stop and just enjoy some of the days before Christmas? Only 6 more days to go. I am so pleased that all of my shopping and wrapping are now all done! Tonight I will be working on the cookies in a jar gifts and making up bags of chocolates for the children. Tomorrow my daughter and granddaughters will be visiting Wayne and I. That is if we do not get too much snow. So fingers crossed that I will be able to see them. It has been brutaly cold here in NH since Monday. Right now it is 21 degrees and that is a high for us this time of night. I hope that all of you are able to slow down and enjoy the rest of the days before Christmas. Other then going out on Monday I am happy to write that I will be home for the rest of the week. Yay! :) Thanks for stopping by and for the comments you have been leaving me. It is always such a pleasure to hear from you. Stay warm, stay safe and Smile.:)
