Hello Ladies. I wanted to share with all of you my new blog banner and buttons. I also have a digital page to share with you. But first.......do you like my new look? I love it. I have had the last banner since 2007 and thought it was high time to have it changed. I am so very happy with the new look and I am very happy that Michelle Laycock of Laycock designs agreed to design it for me. She was awesome to work with, she is a very talented graphics designer and having her communicate with me every step of the way was a fantastic experience. If you ever want your blog designed I highly recommend Michelle.
I am sharing another page that I made for Wayne's book. In all honesty, I was not able to finish it in time for Christmas. So now I will give it to him for Valentine's' Day. I had no idea just how many photos I had of just Wayne and I together so choosing the photos I wanted to use took a lot more time then I thought it would. At least I know what I will be giving him as a gift for February 14. :)
Here is my page.
I used MDS from Stampin'UP!to make this page. Sorry about some of the page being cropped off a bit on the right hand side. The date is 2008. I enlarged the photo so if any of you wanted to read the journaling you would be able to. I used stamps, made the background Kraft card-stock and put an Olive Green mat behind the photo. On the photo I used word art. Another very easy project. I know that some of you would rather see a card but once in awhile I like sharing my pages with you. A card is in the process of being made. :)
Personal Ramblings
I hope that all of you had a wonderful Christmas. Wayne and I enjoyed a very quiet and lovely Christmas Day. It was a little cold and very cloudy but other then that all was well. Can't ask for more then that. We took a few photos of each other and a few of us together. Here is a Christmas photo of Wayne and I.
We took our photos after diner so I am back in my jeans.:)
Yesterday I had Wayne take me food shopping because we were in a weather watch warning. We made good time so we got home just in time before some of the snow and rain started coming down. Then it changed over to pouring rain by night and continued raining for hours. Today we are in a flood watch. I'm sure we will be fine. At any rate tomorrow we are expecting a little snow and on Tuesday we will be having -20 degrees with the wind chill. I just keep reminding myself that we only have 3-4 more months to go and spring will be here.
Thanks so much for stopping by to visit me. I hope that you have a wonderful week. Stay warm, stay safe and Smile. :)
Brrrrr... we are so cold here, but not as cold as that! The snow has melted (for the most part) off the roads, but it is piled up everywhere. TX is totally unprepared - no snow plows anywhere in our area - of course the most snow we ever get is 3 inches, not the 15 that we got! It will be remembered for many years to come - the Texas Christmas Blizzard of '09!!!

Great page for Wayne's book, Mary. Nice blog overhaul, too. And a super picture of you and Wayne. Your weather sounds better than ours! But at least it's nice and sunny today, even if the temperature is dropping:)

Hi Mary sent you an email but wanted to ask a ? that alot of people wonder is the MDS easy to work with??? I'm thinking of getting it during sell-abration ! Love DD
Hi Dee,
The MDS program is super friendly to use. You can either use the pre-made designer pages or sart from scratch using all of the neat things that SU has in the program. Either way it is very easy to use. Just drag and drop your photos, put in some text, save and Voila you have a page, card, flyer and much more that you can make. I am still learning the so much more stuf. :) I hope this helped. If not just send me an email or give me a call. Hope your doing well and that you had a wonderful Christmas.
Hugs & Prayers,
Mary

I like the new look Mary, very bright, cheerful and inviting. I love seeing what you are doing with your digital scrapbook pages. I made a book for my mother-in-law for Christmas and was very pleased with how everything came together. Glad to see you had a wonderful Christmas. Happy New Year!
