Hello Ladies. I have another card to share with you. I made it very late this morning and was not able to finish my post in time to send it up. I made a birthday card for a special little boy in my family. I think it came out cute. Hope you like it.
Most of the products that I used are from Stampin' UP!I did use SU ribbon that it retired. Sorry about that. I used the stamp sets, Beary Best Friends #118052 and Beary Nice Wishes #118050. Both are in the Holiday mini catalog. I used the designer paper called Pawsitively Prints #118060.The card-stock that I used is Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie and Ballet Blue. The ink I used is Chocolate Chip and I also used the Stampin'UP! markers. The buttons are playground and Sherbet also from Stampin'UP! I used rectangle die cuts . The Beary best friends set is adorable and can be used for both boys and girls. Since I have a few small boys and a few small girls in my family and friends who have little ones, I am certain that this set is going to get used quite a bit.
Personal Ramblings
We have had pretty good weather here since last week. We did have two good rain storms but I'll take rain any day over the snow. :) Aside from the rain and a couple of days when I had to run errands from the afternoon into the night I have been taking my walks. I do have a couple of photos to share with you. They did not come out very well but I wanted to share them any way. It is sad to see that our leaves have finally turned and that many of our trees no longer have any leaves on them at all. I did get one last photo the day before of a place that had some foliage left. It's strange how some places in my area do have a few trees that are still pretty.
Thank you to all of you for the well wishes to Wayne and I. We had a very nice Anniversary. The only tradition that we had to break for our special day was not going out to dinner or having our anniversary cake. But we made a few new traditions so that was cool. :) I hope that all of you had an awesome weekend.
I walked 4 miles on Monday and this is one of the very few areas left with some pretty leaves. Oh and I met last years goal by walking the 4 miles. :) I was hoping to make 5 miles this year and I think I would have had the weather been better.
I took a photo of this very same part of the river during my last walk with Wayne. This time the water was up higher and running fast due to the rain storm that we had the night before.
And last but not least. Here is a photo of the front of my home taken the week before last.
Have a wonderful night everyone. I will be back in a couple of days. No matter what Smile :)
Oh Mary, what a fun little card!!!! Those photos are wonderful, just wonderful. Just looking at them gives so much peace. Thank you so very much for taking us with you on your walks. In a pretty place like this I would absolutely walk with you daily ;D. Hugs and blessings, Sabrina
