I can't believe that a week has gone by since I last posted anything on my blog. I have been busy with family and friends. So many of my projects have been put on the back burner. However, I do have something quick and easy to share with you today. I wanted to join in the fun at Pals Paper Arts . The challenge right now is Anything But A Card. I decided to do a little altering using a clipboard from Stampin'UP! If you would like to see some of the beautiful gift ideas that are being shown at Pals Paper Arts just visit their blog. Aside from the glue that I used all of the products are fromStampin'UP!
Here is a list of the products that I used from Stampin'UP!.
Friends 24-7 stamp set, Chocolate Chip and Rose Red ink, 4 1/2 x 9" On Board clipboard,Tall Tales designer papers, So Saffron Ribbon, Large oval punch, Scallop oval punch and designer buttons.
To adhere my papers to the clipboard I used Twist & Glue from UHU Glue. Other items I used were a sanding block to sand all of the edges of the papers on the clipboard. I used a foam brush to apply the Twist & Glue. A sponge was used to apply the Rose Red ink all over the clipboard.I also used pop dots.
I made this for my step-daughter Hillary. Hope she likes it. :) This is one of my favorite photos of Juliette and Aubrey who are our youngest granddaughters. They are sisters and they are *very* close. Juliette is a fantastic big sister and Aubrey idolizes her. It is so much fun to watch them play together. So there you have it. A quick and easy gift that took very little time because I kept it simple. If you have not altered a clipboard yet I highly recommend it. It's fun, fast and so very easy to make.
Personal Ramblings
We have been experiencing very hot and extremely humid weather for the past two weeks. We have also had some heavy rain. Each time we have had a storm I hoped that the humidity would go away or at least go down. Each time it got was worse. Yesterday, Wayne and I had a BBQ at our home for one of his brothers and his wife. We had a wonderful time. The weather was hot humid and very cloudy. But we were able to have our BBQ with out the rain. In the evening we decided to come indoors. I don't think we were inside more than 15 minutes when the thunder began. Then came the torrential rain. The rain was so hard that it was very difficult to see outside. It lasted for quite some time. Today it is sunny and humid but the humidity is leaving us tonight. Yay! Now I will be able to walk outdoors again. I am so excited about that. It's the small things in life that make me happy. :) What makes you happy?
I will be back when I have something to share with you. I certainly hope that it will be very soon.Take good care and Smile when ever you can. Smile. :)
Mary, I have recommended you for the Kreative Blogger award. Come to my bold to pick it up!!

What a sweet photo! I can tell they are really close, loving sisters. Glad your BBQ went well before the rains came! We're having high humidity as well & the temps are awful to go with it! Yesterday was 106, today is 109!!! At least the mornings are cool so I can eat breakfast outside & watch the hummingbirds. Thank God for all those small blessings!

Awesome clipboard! That's something I've never tried to alter but always wanted to.
I love your signature w/the flower & verbage!
It makes me happy when I stamp, hear my children laugh out loud, brighten someone's day w/a rak, win contests, walk my dogs, find loving homes in need of the puppies that I breed, teach 2nd grade cathecism, help others just because, etc.
Hugs,
Gina
