Today I was able to make a card that took just 10 minutes to make. Those of you who follow my blog know that my style is simple. I will on occassion use one of the many techniques that other paper craftes use. But for the most part I like keeping things sweet and simple. I think the way that I stamp, scrap and alter things reflects the type of life I live. Just simple.:)
Before I post my card I wanted to mention that Melanie Muenchinger has a wonderful tip sheet on her blog for her newest stamp set called The Best Things In Life. You can find this set at Gina K. Designs. It is awesome! I was quite surprised to see 39 stamps in one set!
Here is my very simple card. Hope you like it. :)
Here is what I used to make my card.
Stamps: Tag Lines and Comfort & Peace both sets from Gina K.Designs.
Card-Stock: Pale Blue Arturo cards.
Inks: Prussian Blue and Charcoal Color Box fluid chalk ink. Versafine Black Onyx ink.
Embelishments: Black Satin ribbon.
Technique: DP.
That's it. As you can see this card would be very easy to mass produce. Between the 2sets of stamps that I used I could easily make many cards for different occassions. It would be nice to have some extra cards on hand for when I need them.
Dang! Typepad blew me away and this is now my second time of trying to get my post typedand sent to the web.Don't you just love when things like that happen? Maybe that's a good thing becuase it means that I will not be rambling a lot tonight. :) Let me just say that it is absolutely freezing here. We are now at 9 degrees and the temperature is dropping steadily. We have been back in the deep freeze since Saturday. But it gets better. We are in for another snow storm this Wednesday and we may get 6-10 inces of the white stuff again. Wowzer! This time poor wayne will have to get up on the roof and shovel. Oh well what can you do. After all we do live in NH.
I hope that all of you have a wonderful night. Smile. :)
Very, very nice, Simple, but beautiful.

I love this. I have a stamp set I haven't used yet (Hero Arts I think) that would work with this layout. I'll have to give it a try!

Such a beautiful card. I've always thought the simplest designs are best too, probably because that's my style as well! Can you believe we're supposed to get freezing rain tonight & tomorrow? At least my husband won't have to get on the roof to shovel snow!
