***Note***
The information for the November UHU glue sketches will be up on Novemeber 4th. I apologize for my mistake.
The "Gluers" from UHU glue were asked to make a sketch and a project to go with what ever we sketched. Since I have never made a sketch using the computer I had Wayne help me figure it out in Adobe Photoshop. Because it is the every first time I have made one I decided to keep mine very simple. I do mean simple. :) Maybe one day I will get more creative in making a sketch. Anyway, the whole thing behind this is that there will be 5 sketches up on the UHU blog today. You choose a sketch that you would like to do and I believe your project or card will be put up on the UHU blog. There is a bit more to it then that so please visit the blog so that you can get all of the information.
Here is my sketch. (Please do not laugh). I have already done that. :)
Okay now here is my card.
I still can not stamp so once again I made a papercraft card. Here is what I used.
~ Brenda Walton Small Wonder Boy from K&Company designer papers and Grand Adhesions. I purchased these from Michaels.
~ Whisper White, Real Red and Brocade Blue card-stock from Stampin' UP!
~ Computer generated sentiment. I sponged a little bit of Brocade Blue ink around the edges. (Ouch).
~ Buttons.
~ UHU permanent glueroller to adhere the designer paper and sentiment to the card. I used UHU Twist & Glue to adhere the buttons.
It was fast and very easy to do. Even for someone who has a brace on her right hand and wrist. Okay so I took it off a few times. Not cool but I did it anyway. :)
On a more personal note I am healing. Each day I am getting better and better. Okay well with the exception that I managed to get a sinus infection. Wayne to the rescue again. He took me to the doctor on Tuesday and I was placed on an antibiotic. I am beginning to feel lots better. On Tuesday of this week I will be seeing the Ortho specialist. I am hoping to be able to start driving by the end of this week. Then perhaps I will be able to stamp by the following week. But we shall see. In the mean time I have been keeping myself busy doing the things that I can. Like some more digital scrapbooking, starting another blog I called My Lifes Journey, reading email and even writing some email. I have been chatting on the phone and I have been sleeping a lot. Oh and I walk when ever I am able to.
******************STAMPS FOR SALE*********************
I have put the remainder of my stamps up for sale. The Stampin'UP stamps are priced very low. The Amuse stamps are also low for what I originally paid for them. All stamps are in great condition. I will keep them up on my blog until the end of November. After that they will be taken down from my blog. If you are interested in any of them please let me know. The information for purchasing the A Muse stamps can be found here. The information for the Stampin'UP! Stamps can be found here.
I hope that all of you are doing well,in good health and will have a wonderful week. Smile. :)

You've created such a sweet baby card and a neat sketch too! You certainly can accomplish a lot with a broken wrist. Keep on healing - I'm enjoying reading your blog again AND KEEP that brace on!!! I really liked your new blog & learned some new things about you. (of course I had to go look at all your photos too & sigh over the gorgeous trees & waterfalls!)

Mary,
You did such a good job for not being able to stamp and just learning Photoshop. Although I have Photoshop, I would have sketched everything by hand, had I needed a sketch.
Since I'm not much of a stamper, this card is very refreshing and inspiring.
Please continue to heal. My thoughts are with you for a speedy recovery.

Hi again MARY-
I need a few quick cards to mail out today so I am going to give this a whirl. Hello Mary, I am one of the ones doing your sketch challenge :) I hope to work on over the weekend and get it up on my blog and also email Alyssa over at the UHU blog :) I think it looks like a very nice sketch and since I have never done one on the computer (mine are done by hand when I need it) it looks great. Is the Adobe Photoshop free? The post is here: http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/OhioSarah/621908/ about your sketch and challenge. I hope it was okay to post it on my blog :)
