Hi ladies. I have a quick post for you. Once again, thank you very much to all of you who have sent me a get well card and to the many who sent me more this week. Your get well wishes for a speedy recovery means a great deal to me. I am getting there. Not as fast as I would like though. However, I have to remind myself that it has only been 2 weeks today since I fell and landed on the garage concrete floor. I am sure that lots of you can relate to what it feels like to hit concrete. Ouch! I am getting better at typing a little bit longer each day. So I will be sending out a few thank you letters each day for the beautiful cards I have received and leaving comments on some blogs that I have been visiting. I am still not able to drive, pick up things, carry items, Stamp and lots of other things. I am trying to be very patient because I miss stamping a great deal. I am however able to use my mouse and so I am able to continue making digital scrap pages. I also made a new smilebox. This coming week I am going to try and make a card using only paper, flowers, and other premade items. Okay so here are a few things that I have to share with you.
As most of you know I am making a digi scrapbook for Molly and Darcy, my 2 oldest granddaughters who are sisters. The theme of this book will be about "Just Us Girls". So it will also include pages of my daughter Jen, my sister Dee and myself. I want Molly and Darcy to remember the times that we have shared with one another. This page is or Darcy and her cousin Rene (my niece) They are only one month apart and are best friends. They are so sweet. I used K&Company papers and embellishments.
So this is a page of my sister, me, and Jen my daughter. It is one of the very rare times that my sister and I get together. So even though I looked like heck the day this photo was taken I was still happy to have we 3 women together. :) The name of these papers and embellishments is called Clocks and it is by Luminex.
Today was Wayne and my 11th anniversary. We went to my favorite place to eat which is the olive garden. Wayne bought me a beautiful bouquet of flowers, a card and a very thoughtful gift. We had a wonderful day and evening out but I was glad to get home because I was and still am quite tired. I put a small smilebox together of photos that were taken 2 weeks ago today at Shaker Village. For some reason it does not know when to stop by itself so when you get to the last photo all you have to do is hit the escape key or x out of it and you will be good to go. I hope that you will enjoy it.
Have a wonderful Sunday. Smile. :)

Make a Smilebox slideshow |
Oh Mary, it is so good to hear from you. I have been worrying. I asked out in bloggerland for your address but no one responded to me (maybe a security thing) as I wanted to send you a card. Anyhow, please heal quickly and get back to your normal self. Your digital pages are so sweet. Congrats on learning how to do that. Love the smilebox. Get well and I am thinking of you.
