I do not care for frogs. Whether they are real frogs, pictures of them, stamps or papers. I just do *not* like frogs. But when I was at Scrappin'Soul Sisters last week I saw the most adorable looking frog paper and card-stock stickers of frogs. I instantly saw myself making a card using this set made by Debbie Mum. I like this set so much that I asked Jackie the owner to please save me a few more sheets of it. Surely, I must have a photo of one of the kids holding a frog. What a great scrap page that would make using these sweet frogs. If I could find another frog like this one in a stamp I would buy it in a heart beat. How's that for someone who hates frogs. :)
Here is what I used to make this card.
This card was made by using a cream color pre-made card. The size is 5 1/4 X 5 1/4 ".
Designer paper designs by Debbie Mum and made from Creative Imaginations. The card-stock stickers are also from the Debbie Mum collection.
I used my Nestabiliteis to cut out both ovals.I purchased them from Stamping Memories. The sentiment is from Stampin UP! Fancy Flexible Phrases.
The card-stock that I used is Very Vanilla also from SU. The red ribbon is from Scrappin'Soul Sisters.
I used the window punch from SU.The dragonfly embellishment was purchased from Stamping Memories and I have no idea what company they are made from.
I popped up the Ovals with thick pop up dots so that it would be a dimensional part of the card. I also made sure that the rest of the poppy was also popped up.
Was this card easy to make? How about 15 minutes. Now that was a fast and easy card to make. This is the second time that I have used an image on a card that has not been stamped. It has been delightful to make these last 2 cards. I will be making more of them but I truly do need to use my stamps so stay tuned for that.
On a personal note and please feel free to skip this part. I have been very busy with family, appointments, walking, doing the normal house work and laundry and so much more. Remember I said last month that I had a goal to meet by the end of June? I wanted to walk 4 miles. Well, I did not make it and I am quite disappointed. Due to the weather it has been very tough for me to go beyond 3 miles. So now I am setting my goal for the end of this month. I will not give up. :) I have also been working on another goal but I have not shared that with any of you yet because I am having a much tougher time meeting it then I had expected to. I will to let you all know what that is very soon whether I accomplish it or not.
Today is Molly's 16th birthday. I remember the day that she was born and now she will be getting her drivers license in just a month OY!
So that is about all of the news my way. I have missed being able to blog and I will try hard to do more of it.
Have a wonderful rest of the week and Smile. :)
I like your card. I really like frogs. They are so photogenic and a real challenge to find to photograph. I'm not talking toads...frogs...green frogs.

Hi Mary, Love the card and that paper is so cute. Great job as always! You should feel proud of doing 3 miles tha's a big accomplishment. Sometimes we don't quite make it but that fact that you didn't give up is very important and let me tell you 3 miles is great. Have a great 4th and Happy Birthday to Molly. Oh sweet 16 and so many new advertures await her. :)

This is both precious and hilarious. I LOVE this frog, and I'm not a huge fan of frogs either! Personally, I think 3 miles is excellent but best wishes on meeting all your goals!
