It is very rare that I do a card challenge but there are so many good challenges out there so I decided to start getting involved in them as often as I can. This is the very first time that I have ever done a challenge for the weekly challenge at the Card Positioning System. I had a lot of fun making my card. It was easy to do. The sketch was all done for me so that was a plus! I made my card a Thank You card for a very special lady. I'm ashamed to say that my card to her is long over do. I hope that she will like it. :) The hardest part for me was taking a picture of the card. It card 4"X 9" long card. I put it inside of my light box and for some reason it would not stand up straight. So I took it out and took a picture of it in my stamp room, in a window, outdoors and I hate all of the pictures that I took. The picture below is the one that I dislike least. I will ask Wayne what the problem is with my light box and get it fixed fast. :)
~ Stamps:
Comfort & Peace from Gina K. Designs. The sentiment that I used is from from Cornish Heritage Farms.
~ Inks:

~Card-stock:
4 x 9" Pre cut and pre scored Ivory card from Stamping Memories. Vineyard designer paper from Cosmo Cricket. Very Vanilla and Chocolate Chip card-stock from Stampin'UP!

~Tools:

So easy, fun and done with one thank you card now to start making more. I owe so many of them.
Today I took my camera outdoors to take pictures of the the yellow Finch birds that come to visit us. We have 3 feeders up on the tree that is nearest to our patio. Wayne took a beautiful picture of one of them and I wanted to take one too. I would show you his picture but I have to get it from his computer and he is not at home right now. Anyway, those of you who love to take pictures of birds know that it takes lots of time, patience and endurance. Well I have the first two things. Truth is it hurts me physically to stand and hold still for longer then 10 minutes. But I am determined to get a picture before the summer is up. ;) Anyway, while trying I decided to move a little and look around so that I would not feel so stiff. I'll be darned! Miss Daisy deer (my new name for her)decided to walk across my backyard about 10 feet away from me. The entire lenght of my yard!!!! Right in front of me. By the time I realized this she realized that I was a human and of course started running into our woods. I did get a few fairly good pictures of her. She did not escape me completely. Ha-ha.I also took some pictures of an adorable little red squirrel. I will try again tomorrow to get a Finch picture.
I also went for my 2 mile walk. The heat is on now. I only have about 2 weeks left to make my goal of walking 4 miles. Tomorrow I will be walking 3 miles as long as it does not rain. I'll get there yet! So that has been my day. Of course I also cleaned my house and did laundry too.It was a good day. :) I would love to hear what your day was like. I hope that all of you are having a wonderful week so far. Smile. :)
