Although Tyson is a boy turtle I decided to make him into a girl turtle because I wanted to make a card for my daughter. I could have used another stamp and made Jen's card very feminine or elegant but I chose this adorable little turtle to make a light hearted fun card for her. She has been very busy and I know that she could use a "pick me up" card about now. I think this will bring a smile to her face.
Tyson the Turtle and the sentiment (Kim Hughes collection) are both from Cornish Heritage Farms. Polka Dots Backgrounder also from CHF.
Card-Stock:
Whisper White from SU. Herbal Garden Medium from Prism Papers. Designer Papers from Daisy Buckets.
Inks:
VersaMagic, Versafine Onyx Black and Copic Markers.
Accessories:
Ribbon purchased fromStamping Memories and Orchid Dew Drops. Larger glass drops are from Michaels.
Tools:
Marvy Uchida Mega and Giga circle punches also purchased at Stamping Memories.
As you can see it is a very easy card to make. I had lots of fun making this card. Working with this little turtle put a smile on my face and and made me happy. I love feeling that way when I stamp.
Not a lot happening my way. Wayne will be taking down wall paper and then painting our bedroom this week. I still have not picked out the paint color yet. Yikes! I had better get on that fast. :) I only have 3 more weeks left to my photography class. This week our assignment is to take landscape pictures and then photograph just parts of the landscapes that we take. I may go out tomorrow and take some pictures because it is suppose to be a lovely day. With the exception of one day this week I have walked every single day. I have had to really push myself out the door a few days due to being tired or the weather being a bit chilly, windy or raining. That's New England for you. :)
I hope that all of you are having some fun this Memorial Day weekend. Try to kick back, relax and Smile. :)
Hi Mary, this little turtle is sure to put a smile on your daughters face. Such a cute card and love the dew drops. I hope Wayne has better luck than Chuck with the wallpaper. He painted our bedroom today and is almost done the trim. Woohooo!!!! I'll be glad to get my bedroom and house back together. It's really nice having it done. Hope you have a wonderful weekend. :)

How cute and clever to put the bling on the turtles. I love that not realistic color too.

Adorable card, she is going to luv it!
Taking down wallpaper is no fun, I know we went throuh it. AS far as picking out a color I think I changed my mind about 4 times before settling on a color, at least we hadn't started to paint yet or Dan would not have been happy with me! Hehehe!!!
