I know that I have been making lots of cards using dark brown and cream as my color combo but I truly love the combination of the two. Are you getting bored of it yet?
It's time for another card that I made using one of the new releases that were released today. Or yesterday depending when you read this. :)
Stamps: Silhouette Blooms II from the Kim Hughes collection and the Climbing Floral Backgrounder both from Cornish Heritage Farms.
Card-Stock: Butter Cream and Suede Dark Brown from Prism Papers.
Inks: Versafine Vintage Sepia.
Embellishments: Dark brown and cream brads from Making Memories. Cream and dark colored brown organdy ribbon purchased from Stamping Memories.
I made this card by using the stamping on and stamping off technique.
Another busy day for me today. Unfortunately I did not have time to stamp due to appointments. Tomorrow I have set the entire day aside to stamp and make a beef stew for Wayne. :) Okay maybe I will do one load of laundry too. Ha-ha. Tomorrow is almost just for me.
I hope that all of you are taking some "me" time this week. I know it is hard to do when your working in or out of the home, have children or not, and have other things to do. But if you can slip a little time for yourself then go for it. Now I am off to make out some bills and finish up my laundry for tonight. Smile. :)
This is yummy enogh to eat. I love, no I adore these warm sweet comforting colors and patterns together.
I have to get back posting onmy ownblog!!
Throw prayers up for my FIL if so inclined. He's been hospitalized since last Thur...touch & go ..at times ..better now a bit but he is 88 years young :}

Love this one! I am not tired of the brown and cream. I think it is perfect for this card and I love the cherry blossom sprig (? not sure if that is what it is, but that's what it looks like) with this background. It is perfect.

NEVER! I love brown and cream and you're using my very favorite ink - vintage sepia. Unfortunately, I NEED to stamp tonight - - I have 2 cards to make and neither are happy things. And the dish fairy failed to appear at my house and tidy up the kitchen, so I'm stuck with that fun chore, too. But tomorrow's already Thursday and maybe I can squeeze in some fun "me" time in a few days. Stay warm and well.
