Here it is 2:02 AM. EST and I finished making my card just about an hour ago. I thought about waiting to post it after I got some sleep but I have no idea when that will be. :) So here I am once again up very late while many of you are fast asleep. Jen I may have just massacred that sentence. So when you read this please let me know if I have. :) Most of you know that Jen is my daughter. What you don't know is that she could have been and should have been an English teacher. But I digress. ;)
I had no clue what I would make tonight. I had all kinds of ideas but nothing was working for me. Well, one did but I want to see if I can get it published. :) Anyway, I started cruising the SCS forums. Lo and behold there was a card sketch that caught my eye on the Gina K Forum. So here it is.
Please excuse my imperfections. I did not notice that I messed up my DP placement until I was ready to take a picture of my card. I could have taken it all apart and normally I would but tonight I thought I would cut myself a little slack. The stamp set that I used is called Punchy Words and is from Gina K Designs. All other products are from Stampin'UP! I thought it would be nice to use some of the other things that I have purchased over the past few months. On the Happy Birthday 2 You I used clear EP on top of the rose ink and heated it with my heat tool so that it would have the emboss look. As you can see it was a very easy card to make. So why then did I mess up my placement? I'm human I guess. :)
I sure hope that all of you are having a fantastic weekend so far. If I get a chance today I will take a picture of what I have been buying lately. Oh-oh another addiction. Smile. :)
Lovely. Isn't this paper gorgeous? I "need" it! LOL

Cute card. I just love this ginger blossom paper! Thanks for sending the email to me (I should say emails, but I was particularly referring to the "for nothing" one and not the "I asked a stupid question and now she has to answer me out of politeness" one. Ask your daughter about that sentence! LOL" It was really nice to know that you appreciate the comments. I like to leave them and especially if I really like the work.

This is Jennifer... The Daughter of the Blogger... The "'Shoulda-Woulda-Coulda been' English teacher" :)
What my Mother neglects to tell you is that she brought me up to act like a lady, thus making me much too polite to point out a person's incorrect grammar use or various other faux pas to the public at large. Rather, I would do this off-line so as to avoid any undue embarrassment for either party.
P.S. Ya Done Good!
Mom, it's a BLOG. We needn't worry about such things... You are doing GREAT! Everyone, including myself, enjoys what you are writing. You make life interesting and give us something to look forward to. I cannot think of any better purpose. Seriously.
I Love You!
