Today I made a card for this weeks challenge. I love embossing so this is a fun challenge for me.
To make this card I used the Au Chocolat designer paper, Very Vanilla card-stock and Chocolate Chip ink from Stampin'UP! I stamped my image and sentiment with the Chocolate Chip ink. Then I put clear embossing powder over it an used my heat tool to accomplish the emboss technique. The stamps that I used are from A Muse as well as the chocolate colored notecard. To finish my card off I added cream colored pearls on the upper right hand side of the card. I used cream colored organdy ribbon, tied a bow and that was all there was to it. Once I knew what I wanted to use this card took me only 15 minutes to make. I hope you will be able to see the embossing on my image. I can see it very well in person but could not capture it very well when I photographed it.
Today we had a lot of thunder, lightning, rain, some very strong winds and even had some funnel clouds. Then we has lots of sun and another storm in my area of NH. OY! No fun. But at least I was lucky not to lose my power or any of the huge Pine trees on my land. That is something to be thankful for. As for me, during this awful storm I went out and did some errands. Despite the fact that my toe hurt I was not going to stay in the house all by myself. I have a very big fear of lightning so as a rule I leave the house when I know a storm is approaching. Yes, I am a wimp and I freely admit it. :)
I hope that all of you had a great Tuesday and that Wednesday will be an even nicer day for you. Smile. :)
Oh super, super cute!!
