SplitcoastStampers are having a challenge called "In a different light". I enjoy this challenge because it is so easy. All you have to do is choose a card in the Stampin'UP! catalog and do it in a different color. How easy is that! This time I chose the card on page 162. One thing that I did do a little bit different was to put the paisley background on the entire front of my card instead of just half my cards. I made two of them because I was not sure which color I should do. Now that I look at them again I think I should have made a third one using the darker blue. Take a peek. :)
I used the stamp set Lexicon Of Love and the Paisley BG stamp on both cards. To make this card I used Chocolate Chip, Whisper White and Ballet Blue. The ink that I used is Chocolate Chip and Versamark. To finish this card I used the ribbon from the SU Ribbon Originals. If you look in the catalog and compare my card to the card shown on page 162 you will also notice that I did not add a tiny flower.
As you can see the only difference between this card and the one above is the color of the card. In this one I used the Bashful Blue card-stock. Another good reason to participate in this challenge is to help you get your creative juices going. It helps me anyway.
Another busy day and another late night. Time for me to call it a day. I hope that you have a wonderful day. Just think the weekend is almost here. Smile. :)
