Ciao! What a beautiful fall we have had so far. Not too much rain, lots of days that are in the mid to high 70's, a few that have been in the 80's and the leaves are now turning. Wayne and I have been taking full advantage of the weekends after the not so very nice summer that we had. We have been busy making memories and having some much needed fun.
Last week we went to the Deerfield Fair. What a great day! So I made both an MDS page and a Project Life page of our trip to the fair. Hope you enjoy them.
I made this page using the MDS program by Stampin'UP! I made it very similar to the way that I made my Project Life page just to challenge myself a bit.
Week 39 Project Life Page
In this page I showed only the photos that meant the most to me. I do not go on the rides but I do like watching them work. I do not like eating the food but I love the smells, and I do not play the games so I included photos of the things that I enjoyed doing or that made me happy to see.
I still miss stamping but I am so grateful to have both the MDS program and Project Life that I am able to use. A huge bonus for me is that both are so simple to use.
This afternoon Wayne and I went back to Home Depot to start the ball rolling on having the rest of our kitchen done. This section will be a remodel and not just an update. A designer will be here by the end of this coming week to work with me. I quite excited about it. In the mean time I am hoping that Wayne will get the walls and the ceiling all painted quickly. Here is my last update on the kitchen until the last of the remodel is finished. Hopefuly by November.
New pendant lights and white stool are the latest updates. We still need to have 2 new white doors installed, I need to order new curtains, walls, woodwork around skylight windows and celing need painting and the last wall needs new cabinets and counter top. So we are 75% finished. :)
Thank you so much for stopping by to look at my pages. I hope that you are enjoying the fall as much as I am. Stay cool/warm, stay safe and SMILE BIG. :)
