I attended the Copic certification class a week ago this past Sunday at Stamping Memories. It was an intense class but Sally Lynn MacDonald (teacher) made the class a lot of fun. I learned quite a bit of information about the Copic Markers and how to use them.I am working on a card right now using the markers and hope to have it finished by tonight. :) I would love to teach a class one day using the Copic markers but feel that I need lots of practice first and then I will feel much more confident teaching other women how to have fun with Copics.
Here is a photo that Wayne took of me when I got home.
Although I was very excited I was also very tired.
The class was at Stamping Memories in Belmont, NH. Here is a photo of Nanette(owner) and Sally Lynn.
I took a photo of Julie, who is one of the teachers at Stamping memories with Sally Lynn.
I also took a photo of Debbie from Debbie's Doodles & Designs. She is an illustrator. I *love* the her stamps! She traveled a very long distance to attend this class.
Here is a photo of Sally Lynn teaching our class. What an awesome teacher she is. A good sport too because I took lots of photos.
Here is Moi with Sally Lynn.
Okay one last photo of me that Wayne took. As I said, I took lots of photos but do not want to put them all up. It would take to much of your time to look at them all.
I touched this photo up a bit because I looked like a dork! Still do. But heck, I tried. :)
So there you have it. I highly recommend taking this class even if teaching Copics is not something you want to do. I truly did learn so much from this class.
Later that evening I was looking at some of the blog newsletters that I receive and lo and behold I found that I had also taken the class with another illustrator and her daughter. They own an on-line company called KLM digital Designs. They are located in NH and not very far from where I live. Needless to say I had to at least download one of the digi stamps and have to say that I love it. I will be making a card using it and my copic markers. Can you use ink-jet ink with your Copic markers. Yup!
Thanks for looking. I hope that you enjoyed seeing some of the photos and hearing how my class went. Loved it! Smile. :)

Congratulations!! Good Job !! Have a good one, Hugs n' Stuff, Lynne

Mary, your picture is great, you do a really good job on editing pics. I'm taking a copic class Sat. having to drive 60 miles, but i think it will be worth it. LOL.
