On Friday, Anne and I went to the Scrapbooking convention in Manchester, NH. This was my first time going. Anne of course was the driver because I am not very good with navigating my way through Manchester. I even have a navigator and still....... I am at a loss. :) I am going to show a few pictures of our very long and wonderful day. Although the first booth we went to was Ink About It (my favorite) I will share a picture of it in just a little bit.
Anne and I visited many booths before stopping here. I wish that I could remember the name of this one but I can't. What I do remember about it is all of the beautiful Basic Grey and Crate Papers that they had. I bought three of the small books of Basic Grey designer papers because I already have so much of this gorgeous paper. Anne, bought lots and lots of these papers. Lets just say that her bag was very heavy after she shopped here. :)
After looking and shopping at Sizzix, Fiska's,Rusty Pickle, S.E.I, Purple Daisy Designs and so many other booths We ended up back at my favorite booth. Ink About It is a store that sells lots of A Muse products as well as other products and they are located in Massachusetts. This is the booth that we came back to a second time and I spent the bulk of my money. It was here that we met Jenn Shurkus who is a designer for A Muse. She was at the convention to teach women to stamp a Make and Take that she had designed. It was such a pleasure meeting Jenn. She is so friendly and down to earth. Anne asked if she would mind having her picture taken with us and Jenn was so sweet and said "yes". So here we are with Jen, one of the A Muse Super Stars. :) Thank you, Jenn for making my day even happier then it already was. The owner of Ink About It Is Lori Chanpine an she was awesome! She was so sweet and very helpful. If you are ever in the MA. area visit her store. I know that Anne and I are hoping to get down there in the late Summer. Right Anne? Ha,ha.
After Anne and I made our way through the entire convention not once but twice it was finally time to leave. After all we had been there from 10:30 AM until 4:30 PM. So we took a picture of each of us carrying our "stuff".
Yup! This is me. Don't let those bags fool you. They were very heavy!
And here is Anne with her "stuff" and some of mine. It was a joke we had going between us. I think that she will be blogging about that. After we left the convention we made a quick stop at Michaels and AC. Moore. It was a very long day but we had a blast. I look forward to doing this again next year. So many wonderful companies were represented by so many wonderful people. We met lots, and lots of friendly women and of course we were fortunate to find lots of good things to buy. :)
PICTURES OF MY "STUFF"
I purchased the Martha Stewart punch at Michaels and the rolls of ribbon from AC Moore.I wish that I had a wide angle lens so that I could have taken a picture of all of the items that I bought in just one photo.
This Ribbon Cocktail was so adorable that both Anne and I had to buy one. Is this cute or what? My little umbrella got bent a bit because I was not very careful with it. I can see making these for a craft fair. I think they would go over big.
Except for the four stamps to the left that came directly from A Muse and were waiting for me when I got home every thing else was purchased from the Ink About It booth. I could have purchased more A Muse items but decided that I had spent enough money at the convention. Oops, I forgot that there are 4 stamps mixed in that I did buy from AC Moore. ;) Thanks for looking at my pictures. I hope that you enjoyed seeing the pictures of Anne,Jenn and myself. I hope you also enjoyed looking at the different products. I know that I had a lot of fun looking at all of the products in the different booths.
Tomorrow I'm off to Kennebunk Maine for a BBQ with our family. I hope that all of you are having a fantastic weekend. Smile. :)
