I had a lot of fun making this card. As soon as I knew how I wanted to make my card it went together within 15 minutes.
The hardest thing for me to do with this card was to take a picture that came close to the real color of the notecard. No matter what type of lighting I used I had a heck of a time capturing the color. I need to take some classes in photography!
Except for the round punch and black ink all other products are from A Muse. After I stamped the beehive and the sentiment I then punched them out and popped them up using pop dots. Placement was simple because the lime green notecards have the circles all ready printed on them. I then stamped the little bee in the remaining circles. I took a black pen and added little dots to make them look like they are in flight. I added a yellow creative candy micro dot on the head of each bee. A very simple, easy and fun card to make.
I hope that all of you have a fantastic Friday. I can not believe that the week is almost over. Some times I feel like each day is just a blink of my eye. Life is passing me by way too fast. Smile. :)
Today I received another RAK. This time from Doreen Dickner. I have never made one of these cards but I would love to. This card is so unique and so pretty.
Doreen used all Stampin' UP! products. As you can see a lot of time went into making this card. Look at all of the detail work. I wish that my picture had come out better. The gifts are all cut out, have glitter on them and popped out so that they are 3-D. Doreen used the Faux stitching technique. added movable arms and legs to the teddy bear and then swiped the the card with ink. My favorite technique. Thank you very much Doreen. :)
